Responsibilities:-Participate mainly in our mobile game projects.-Ensure an excellent overall gaming experience.-Ideate, conceptualize and design new game mechanics and systems.-Maintain, balance and improve existing games.-Create and implement new levels, environments, stories, and quests.-Propose game designs appropriate for the brand based on relevant research, study, and communication across different departments.-Use industry standards and best practices to define and implement design criteria.-Convey ideas and concepts using appropriate methods, e.g. personas, user flow diagrams, wire****s, mockups, and prototypes.-Work closely with a cross-functional team, including UX, UI designers, and developers.-Collaborate with brand experts to ensure consistency in brand identity.-Utilize market research to cater to the target audience.Requirements:-Qualification in game design or a related field.-Experience in designing gameplay systems and creating design documentation.-Good understanding of gameplay, levels, maps, architecture, flow, metrics, and pacing.-Use data to quantify and optimize game designs.-Good understanding of technical implementation within games and ****ing.-Knowledge of game UX/UI.-Experience and knowledge of game engine (Unity).-Experience and knowledge in designing casual and match-3 games.-Participated in at least one successfully launched mobile game.-Experience in successful Western/global game projects (especially with a fantasy theme) is a plus.-Please submit a portfolio showcasing sample documents/works demonstrating your skills and experience.Desired qualities:-Have a can-do attitude - willing to take on tasks.-Understand the business needs, direction, and feedback to deliver practical and creative designs.-Good communication and interpersonal skills as a team p****.-Organised with good time management skills to meet deadlines.-Ability to communicate in English, in both writing and speaking.-Passion for game and animation.-Experience or knowledge of Neopets is a plus.Working environment:-Dynamic and multicultural work environment-Flat company structure: your ideas get heard by the right people very quickly-Flexible remote working (online in Asia time zones)
